You are a frickin' idiot. I have seen a lot of stupid people on this forum, but you have to be the stupidest.

Are you really an American? If so, kindly STFU and quit adding to the disrepute and scorn we have enough of thanks to morons like you. Jesus H. Christ!

Another spurious quotation. These words appear nowhere in the writings or recorded utterances of Patrick Henry."

"The highest story of the American Revolution is this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity."

President John Adams

"Before any man can be considered as a member of civil society, he must be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe. And to the same Divine Author of every good and perfect gift [James 1:17] we are indebted for all those privileges and advantages, religious as well as civil, which are so richly enjoyed in this favored land."

James Madison

"We've staked the whole future of American civilization not on the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us . . . to Govern ourselves according to the commandments of God. The future and success of America is not in this Constitution, but in the laws of God upon which this Constitution is founded."

President James Madison

"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers. And it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest, of a Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."

Why, because snopes says so?

So, you find a couple of quotes out of what dozens? or mor? that may perhaps be questionable or misquotes, and therefore throw the rest of the quotes by everyone else out too?

And I'm the stupidest person you've ever run across?

I don't even know why Meegook cares about gay marriage in the States. It's not like he's ever going to live there again.

Maybe he just doesn't like the idea that gays could have successful marriages where he failed.

Oh no, Meegook, I care for you. In fact, I pray for you.

Anyway, an interesting fact about secular Femmy land - my flatmate is a family lawyer, and she tells me that Femmy land has a child support cap of NZ$98,000 (about US$50,000). That means, you pay the same child support making $98,000 as you do making $1,000,000. You shoulda got divorced over here bro! Churr.

And yeah, I don't have a whole lot to do each day as a grad student. Like I said, I only have to teach three hours a week. Meegook fascinates me, so there ya go.

man this has gone downhill fast. It resembled an intelligent discussion in the beginning but has been reduced to a bunch of really old and stupid quotes.

Worst analogy? LMHO
Here's where you error. Family Research Council merely took the 'name brand polls and surveys and posted them. That's like stoccking the shelfs of a store with brand name products and letting customers inspect the merchandise. FRC didn't do the research themselves, so your Moore analogy doesn't hold water.

It would be as you suggest if the Christian store owner tampered with the brand names goods before he he place them on his shelfs.

You're free to dispute the results of the surveys posted and I encourage you to do so. The sources are all listed on the site and I provided a link. However, I think you'll find they are are accurately cited/quoted.

Once again, all you've done is attack the messnerger, in this case the Family Research Council, because you don't like the facts and can't dispute them.

They may not have done the studies, but they have agency in selecting which studies to chose from. Sinse thier figure is lower than other very well excecuted studies we can surmise that there was or at the very least potentially could have been bias involved. This is not the same as your analogy.

They are not impartial, that is the point.

Yep, those really old and stupid quotes by those fuddie duddies, the Founding Fathers who risked their lifes, their fortunes and their sacred honor when they signed that Declaration of Independence.

Darn, the shelf-life of those old documents, including that Ancient Manuscript, the Bible, should be looked at more closely.

Maybe Bush was right:
