I did a google search and someone posted that it was because the government said someone posted a video of that guy getting beheaded, Kim Seong Il (Iraq?). Another guy speculated it had something to do with the elections.

My school website that I set up is on a blogger blog, so the kids haven't been able to get on it this week. Sucks.

So much for free speech. Guess this is one noticeable difference (of many) between Korea and back home.

The Kim Seong Il video was from when Blogger was blocked in 2004. The elections might be a possibility, but what does Blogger have to do with elections?

Edit - Sorry, Blogger was blocked in August 2005. I think that was the most recent time.
