In Haebangchun, I want a pet and I'm not too picky about the kind, just not a dog,cat or fish.
I'm fully qualified to adopt/care for the critter. In a past life I worked at a vet and owned 60 show rabbits and 22,000 chickens ( yep, twenty-two thousand). I plan on being here for at least 3 more years. |

a friend of mine got a rabbit here... i still haven't met him.
personally, i'd really like a hedgehog, but my cat might object. |

Guinea pigs, hamsters and beetles can be found at department stores along with cages and supplies. If I had a bigger cage, I'd love to have a guinea pig. |

More information about this shelter is available in the sticky at the start of the forum.
Many shelters rescue a variety of animals, including rabbits. I hope you will check out your local shelter rather than buying a pet. |

buy a chameleon. they're not difficult to get in korea ... not fuzzy, but definitely an interesting pet.
if you get one, i'll pay you some money to use the chameleon in photo shoots that i want to do.
if anyone else has a chameleon, let me know ... same offer applies! |

There are plenty of fuzzy creatures of all sizes living in cages across Seoul. They're called Canadians.
Most are pretty finnicky, but with a bit of TLC they make nice pets (just ask my wife).
Check your nearest hagwon. |

Let me know if you need a cage, food, treats, or bedding for a hamster. I've got that available, no hamster included though. |

Are you talking about iguanas? I've seen tons of iguanas in the Emarts and Lotte Marts, but I've yet to see a chameleon. My friend in the states had a couple and from what he told me they're very difficult to take care of and don't last long in captivity. Iguanas on the other hand need nothing more than food, water and a hot rock. |
