Has anyone done this in Seoul? I went to the Microsoft Korea website, but..no..
Where do you take it? How much did it cost, since it's still under warranty. It <should> be free.

This is my problem...
thanks... |

Go to xbox.com (select Korea as your region) and find the customer service number. Call them and they will send an e-mail telling you what to do.
The service and the shipping are free. MS's 3-yr. 360 warranty is valid worldwide. |

I found a number in the back of my Warranty book...
South Korea: 00368-440-0090..
Strange phone number, but I assume it works.
My 360 worked yesterday, but when I turn it on today, I only get a brief flurry of white dashes and then sound only, with a black screen. It seems to be a common problem, so hopefully it's covered under the warranty. |

This is one good reason to avoid the Xbox 360 -- hardware problems. |

^ True but manageable hardware problems and a decent warranty system in place as long as you haven't modded it.
Still will be keeping my 360 over a PS3 until the PS3 has a decent number of titles under it's belt. Probably closer to christmas time next year.
Then I will be back to Sony.

Have you called them yet Huck? Any idea of what the turnaround time is? |

& It was your blog I read as well.
Did you get the HDMI version and was yours original or had it been modified in anyway?
I'm sure MS in Korea must get back most of theirs modded. |

No, it was an original and not the HDMI version. |
