My contract ends on March 18th, and my passport expires on March 18th: perfect timing, but how does that affect anything for my return flight? My home country (USA) isn't going to require me to have 6 months validity to return, is it?
I mean I'm sure I'll be able to leave a day or two early, but I'm just checking to see if there is anything specifically mentioned about this anywhere. |

Your home country wont demand extra validity.
But it poses an interesting hypothetical. I wonder what would happen if your last-minute flight got cancelled, or diverted to another country & delayed a couple days because of weather? (Thats happened to me.) |

Why not get a new passport? You have time. |

True: that's probably the easist/safest route. I don't want to test any hypotheticals... |
