Asking on behalf of a friend- can anyone help us to find a Korean-English translator? My boyfriend needs a translator for an important Labor Board meeting this Thursday. All travel and time expenses paid!!
If anyone can volunteer or tell us how to get hold of a professional translator, please reply!!! |

I think the labor board, who deals with foreigners, should have one. But that would be logical and that's not the Korean way. |

Do you need a translator for written documents or an interpreter for during the hearing? |

I called the labor board once and they put two people on the phone at the same time. One was the labor board person and the other was the translator. The translator spoke English very well, so I imagine you won't need to bring a translator.
After, I was left wondering why they don't just hire someone who can speak English instead of having a translator. But what do I know? |

I need an interpreter for speaking and listening. Written documents are not an issue. Does anybody know of professional interpretation services I could avail myself of?

A speech translator for the hearing is needed. Apparently the Labor Board just can't produce one... |
