Anyone had an experience of working with trainee KTs?
I've just been introduced to a trainee who'll be shadowing me in my HS lessons for the next 4-weeks. His English seems okay.
Just curious as to how these kind of things generally work. I'm assuming that he'll just operate in a similar capacity to my regular CTs i.e. handling translation etc. He says he's got some private academy teaching experience.
Any comments etc would be appreciated. |

Well, bear in mind that these four weeks are all the training he may in terms of practical stuff. I'd try to give him the opportunity to do a few lessons, though he may find it very intimidating. Maybe you could get him just to do part of a lesson. |

Make sure the KT knows that the best way to be a good KT is to bring in home cooking for your Foreign Teacher each day. |

Two years of them.
Nice enough but annoying.
Pretty much useless but has potential. |

Forget that... it'd be K-food.
Tell him to bring you booze! |
