I used to be very deft with banana cutting. I could climb any banana tree and make four slices with my machete to bring four bunches of beautiful bananas into my arms, then I would slide easily down the trunk and gently place them on the ground. People were always amazed. Saying stuff like, 'You are just like late Uncle Seti, you have his skill."
So yeah, I reckon I'm an expert.

My wife used to say I was an expert at sex, but now I'm getting old and fat, so I don't know if I'm so great anymore.

You'd be hard pressed to find another person without a Ph.D. who knows more about Dostoyevsky. I do have a BA in Russian and lived there a year as well. But as this is not a serious thread...
-I'm an expert on concussions having given myself several. My brain is NOT what it used to be.

I guess I could be considered an expert handgun marksman. I do have the certificates and training for it.

I've been programming in Csound for 9 years now. It's changed little. I'm not quite sure I'd consider myself an expert because the people who use it are generally quite hardcore music nerds. Relatively I'd say I'm middle of the pack. Compared to anyone on the outside I'm easily an expert.

I am an expert jaywalker.

I believe my excellent knowledge of physics, braking and acceleration capabilities of motorized vehicles, traffic-light coordination and pedestrian path-taking combined with my long legs and innate sense of timing are what propel me to the front of the pack in this endeavor.
