So, I recently checked out both Zaras. There is one in Myeong-dong and one in Coex. Needless to say, I wasn't too overly impressed. Most of the sizes were waaaaay too big for me. The smallest I saw in most items was a US size 6, which is UK size 10...I saw only one pair of shorts that were US size 2...They looked pretty darn big to be a size 2. I found one miniskirt I liked and asked the sales girl if they had it in a size 0, 1 or 2. She said I must be like a waist size 24. I said yes, I am. I can even wear 23 if I can find it. She said sorry, 6 was the smallest size available.

Not to mention, the extra small blouses and tops looked big to be an extra small size. And...they had these huge...I mean huge floor length dresses designed for a giraffe to wear. I saw a Korean girl looking at them like "What"????? Talk about fugly, fugly. I say Zara won't be popular here in Korea, unless it's with the foreigners. Just like Mango...too big sizes.

I'll just stick with Korean stores. Even though many Koreans are not as small as they used to be, they still make the clothes for Korean shops to fit smaller...so I'll stick to that. Many Korean girls are not 6 feet tall either, so I don't know what Zara was thinking when they got those giraffe tent dresses in there. The tent look is not attractive in my opinion. I also found the stuff at Zara to be quite plain and not trendy/princessy. The Koreans I saw didn't look too impressed either.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is not the first place they've opened stores in Asia, right? They have shops in maybe Japan or China or Hong Kong (yeah I know it's China, but..). So why would it be any different here? What's gone wrong? Is this the only place in Asia where they've gone for the Big and Bigger market? If so why?

Oh my gosh I like, so totally agree with you! I was looking for a skirt that is shorter than my ass-crack, and the sales girl was like, you don't have a very long ass crack. And I was like, yeah, it's only 15 cm long, or 5.9 inches.

Also, I am like a size -4, with a 12 inch waist (almost double the size of my ass crack) so everything looks out of proportion and I just don't get it, why isn't everything about me??? What about MEEEEE?

Anyway the sales girl was like, "You're so pretty!" And I was like, "No! You're so pretty!" and she was like, "Nuh-uh! You're prettier than me!"

Not to mention, they don't sell matching dog clothes, only giraffe clothes, and I was like, this is SO pissing me off! If I wanted clothes for my giraffe I would get them tailored at Versace, y'know? Anyway if they did sell dog clothes they would probably be WAY too big, coz I have like this totally minature dog with a Prada carry-case, and my dog is like so totally smaller than your dog!

Anyway I pretty much don't recommend this store to anyone, unless you are looking for something in normal sizes, or something totally non-foofy. And if you ARE looking for that, like screw you! You're not a *real* princess.

oh yes, i checked out zara as well and was majorly disappointed. i did not try anything on, so i can't speak for the sizes, but the clothes were ugly and overpriced.
