| I BT'ed this one last year, and it was great. Ordered it off Netflix afterwards just to do my part for the movie's numbers. |

As soon as I saw the previews I thought 'Oh! That looks like my kind of movie!'. So, I watched it...and liked it...but didn't really get it. The 'logical' and 'creative' parts of my brain were clashing while watching this movie. Intriguing, nonetheless. |

It was great visually, but I've yet to see an argument for it being a "good movie".
I watched it about a year ago and remember being vaguely disappointed by it. I was expecting more, and it didn't deliver. Loads of abstraction with little substance underlying.
Now, go see Sunshine. That was a great movie. |

On Planet WTF, maybe.
Great set-up, disappointing climax...and that's being kind. |

It's no Maximum Overdrive, that's for sure. |

Fountain was beautiful but i forgot about the story quite quickly. matthew libatique is one of my favorite cinematographers though.
Sunshine had great sound design and visual effects. but the skinless man part was a disappointment.
there's a trailer on you tube (en espanol) for david fincher's "the curious case of benjamin button". it's a really well done trailer and i'm just speculating, but i think it will be Fincher's masterpiece. |

I didn't like the monster guy at the end either... but it was still a great movie overall. As a whole. |
