Right, i'm looking at taking the plunge and moving to Korea(or China), however I am just wondering what they look out for on the medical. This might sound stupid for which I apologise in advance, but I suffer from Asthma, albeit not that severely but was wondering if this would count against me? Barring this I am generally fit and healthy as I go to the gym 4 times a week and play football (soccer) twice a week, your responses will be appreciated.

Thanks

I heard the Korean Immigration will do a blood test on you (for HIV and drugs) but I do recall something about the x rays for your lungs- I really don't think your asthma would be a big deal but I guess talk to your recruiter/school and see what they have to say.

It won't matter. They only scan your lungs for TB and perhaps for very serious illnesses that could cost the NHIC. You don't have TB, do you?
