I know airfares have skyrocked since the last few years. I was quoted from Top Travel, 600,000 won using Eva Airlines for leaving mid- December. I am on the waiting list currently. That price sounds unbelievably cheap, so I'll believe it when I see it.
If you are going to Thailand, how much are you paying? What airline? What travel agency? Just curious as the variety in prices out there. |

My advice would be to go to a Korean travel agent and ask specifically for some quotes on the following 3 airlines:
www.skystarairways.com
www.vladivostokavia.ru
www.orient-thai.com
The above 3 all fly Korea to Thailand non-stop and would be priced not too far off 600,000 won. They are all basic airlines at the lower end of the market.
But if you want to go on a premium legacy carrier with all the frills and in- flight entertainment, then you will pay top $$$ (count on at least 1 million won).

^Thanks for the links, but I just did a search on the Russian airline for the dates I wanted, and I was quoted over 1 million won. I really doubt I can get anything much cheaper than 600,000. The only draw with Eva airlines is I have to stay a night layover in Taipei. For that price, I'm not really complaining.
I was just curious how much others were quoted to go to Thailand at that time. |
