As the title says, what song or musical piece always seems to lift your spirits?
I love some classical pieces, but I would say they tend to calm me more than cheer me, though some put a smile on my face.
Some of that fun '80s pop makes me smile too, but the song that always makes me smile is "You Better You Bet." Fun tune with some pretty odd lyrics. |

Anything with Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong together. On their own, they're both great, but together, wow. |

It's inexplicable, but I find the Goo Goo Dolls cheer me up. |

I like "They Must be Giants". They cheer me up. Also, watching clips of Adam Sandler singing "I feel pretty". That cracks me up.
Anyone else? |

Singing "If you're happy and you know it" with first one son, and now the other.
If you're happy and you know it,
pass some gas. poot poot.
etc...
If you're happy and you know it,
crap your diaper. (sound effects)
etc...
"clap your hands" is boring. |
