I guess it gets the job done...
That's the hold message on KT Megapass. I'd also like to hear from some competitors before I sign up. Does anyone know how to navigate the phone menu at hanaro (106) to get to talk to a person and ask for English? I tried pressing 0 or 1, and it kept asking for my account number or something, so not sure how to get to an operator to ask for the English.
Or, any other suggestions? I'm tired of asking my girlfriend to do everything for me... |

Ha ha! Someone I can help...
Hanaro has given me excellent service - they were able to give me a full 100Mb/s connection for about the same price as a 5Mb/s connection would have been from KT in my area.
They also have several operators who speak excellent English...so it's absolutely beyond me why they don't have an English option through the menu system. I had to ask a Korean to go through the menus and ask an English speaker to call me back.
However! Can save you the hassle - here's the direct number to the office where people speak English. I'm sure they can help you, if you're nice: 062 450 3174
I've called that number several times, asked in Korean if they speak English and the answer is always yes. Good luck! |
