|
|
Hello everyone,
I'm contemplating getting a new Bible, and saw that NIV Study Bible brought out a new edition in 2008 . . . I figure that if I want to get a new Bible, it's best to get something updated. (Also, I'm interested in taking a look at an "Evidence Bible" with commentary by Ray Comfort).
I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there's any store in Seoul that'd have a wide (and current) selection of Bibles. The Christian Bookstore I live near has books in English, but they're mostly 15 years old or older. |

You mean it's come to changing the bible? Damn.
Can I make my own version, too? I wish I read Korean well enough to see what kind of funny isht was in their translation... |

I figured that someone would make a remark like that.
No, the Bible hasn't changed . .. it's still NIV. However, the new edition has changed 25% of the notes in the Bible . .. if I just wanted a Bible without imbedded notes, I could get one extremely easily. |

Ask The Lord and He will provide.
Alternatively post your question on an ESL messageboard generaly populated by people who are educated enough to have at least a degree.
Let me know how this works out for you. |
