I went to a Tofu factory yesterday and I saw them adding some sort of oil into the mix, when I asked what It was the guy responded 'pig.'
I assume he wasn't talking about me
So you veggies have maybe been eating meat extracts! You might as well go the whole hog and eat a steak! Do it!!!
And no I cannot post the name of the company because that would breach Korean law. |

Goes to show that this country is not, nor will be in the near future, vegetarian friendly. |

Good, I would hate to see it succumb to that. Anyways, doesn't anyone know that tofu never was never really intended as a meat substitute in Asia. It's only Westerners who had the idea of taking a slab of tofu and grilling it (or baking, frying etc) and eating it as the main meal.
I'll flip out if I hear one more vegetarian traveling in Asia complain that, "Why do they always mix meat into the tofu dishes!?!?!" |

If you PM the information to dozens of people here at Dave's, I doubt you'll go to jail even if it is technically illegal. I hope this helps. |
