My ex-girlfriend/kind of girlfriend/not really girlfriend �� seems to have started a section of her page on the bulletin board dedicated to learning Korean...go to the �Խ�� section and click on 'let's study!'. She puts up sections of the comic strip Marine Blues with the explanations below.

Hey Mithridates, have you ever read "Hadashi No Gen" in Japanese? Do you know if they have it in Korean?

I'm a big fan of �� by �ڱ��. The books have a comic strip on one page, then an anecdote on the next. Sometimes it's sappy, sometimes it's hilarious. It's a neat insight into modern Korean life.

��ø� is also pretty funny, and great for people with dirty minds. Plus, there are no essays to get in the way so it's a bit easier.

Hangul never shows up on the computer I use.... just jibberish....perhaps you could romanize it?

Comics are a great way to help you learn a language. I learned a lot of dutch that way, because i enjoyed the culture and people there. I can honestly say I learned more dutch in 6 months than I have Korean in 2 years.
Why? something inside me just does not admire or love Koreans- so I have no great enthusiasm for the language. I'm working on it though...
