I've just found the Chinese equivalent of Dave's cafe for Ireland...

http://www.irelandbbs.com/forum-69-1.html

What type of things are they saying?

Its for Chinese in Ireland.

Not specifically for Chinese teachers though...more for international students.

To tzechuk: 我是正宗湖南人,來韓國4年了,不過韓語很爛,總是跟講英語的人混,我在釜山,您要是有機會來釜山的話,我請你喝杯茶 Smile

Just curious how the Chinese feel they are being treated in Ireland and what type of issues they might have living here. I think it's interesting to see your culture from different perspectives.

I was just walking around the streets today, having just come back from Korea. It reminded me of a church; beautiful, quiet, somewhat haunting. It had that 4 o'clock in the morning feel. Compared to Korea, with its constant distractions, Ireland is very quiet.

The poster on that site have much better avatars and signatures than we do.
We are down right daggy compared to them.

Haha.. one of the reasons why it takes me so long to type in Chinese is because I type in Korean first, then change it to Chinese characters. Also, I don't remember how to write a lot of the words, so I use my trusty English-Chinese online dictionary to help me out Wink

And yes, Panda is Chinese, but I thought she was from Taiwan.. lol.

I really like the layout and design of their site. Very cool avatars.

Dave's cafe might as well be in the last century as far as forum design goes. No pictures either. Thanks, whoever the nitwit jerk that ruined that for us.
