I recently got a DVD burner for my computer and I am trying to burn some DVDs. I'm having problems putting Korean subtitles on my DVDs because the subtitle files are ".smi" files that I get from the Gomplayer website. Unfortunately, I can't find any burning software that recognizes ".smi" subtitle files. I have spent the entire afternoon trying to figure out how to get this to work! Does anyone know what i can do!?!?! |

grab subtitle workshop. http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Subtitle-Workshop-Download-5315.html
Use it to convert .smi to .srt (subrip). You can do batch convert.
Most dvd making apps use .srt.
Make sure you have the right code page selected in the burning app so you subs show right. If you use XP make sure you have East Asian languages installed, and non unicode Korean in Control panel/Languages. |
