| I fried a Mobo and Intel sent me a new one under warranty. I have the drivers. do I have to reformat my C: drive or will it work if I just reinstall the Intel drivers for the motherboard without reinstalling XP? |

All you can do is try and see. I'm guessing if all the hardware is the same, then your installation on your C: drive won't know any the wiser.
Wouldn't the installation on your C: drive have the drivers already installed? Did you get the same model mobo? |

Yes, same model, although it is two years newer. I think you're right, I just have to try it.

I formatted roughly six months ago. I have an activiation kill that has never failed me on XP SP2.

6 months isn't that long ago, if it was over a year, I'd recommend a format just for maintenance. |
