Is yongsan electronics market any good for small household appliances such as a toaster, microwave, kettle etc. or is better to go to homeplus?
I live near yongsan and have a vehicle so yongsan is really easy for me to go to. is the price/selection better at yongasn or homeplus? i find emart isn't great for these things although i havent checked out lottemart.
cheers in advance |

I wouldn't visit Yongsan for household appliances
Gmarket for price/selection
Homeplus/Emart etc. for speed. They have websites, too, if you want to compare prices and such beforehand. |

I think you mean HiMart.
Homeplus has all kinds of things. HiMart specializes in appliances/computers/cameras/etc.
As the above poster said, check the internet first to get the best deal |

For small household appliances, I'd say there would be little to no difference between any of the supermarkets or Hi-mart.
You might get old models by no-name Chinese brands pretty cheap in Yongsan if you hoke around in the more 'flavorful' areas.
Basically, if I wanted a kettle or a toaster, I'd just go to the nearest supermarket and get whichever one I liked the look of. You might see kettle's in E-mart ranging from 15,000 to 150,000.....pick the price level you want. |
