I know where E-mart/Lotte Mart is, and that whole area, but I am thinking of xmas shopping for the folks back home, and a sweater from Uniqlo isn't gonna cut it.

Are there neighborhoods, shops outside of this area that sell more traditional gifts? I don't know Changwon at all...just this one intersection and neighborhood.

Any direction would be helpful...THANKS!!

unfortunately there seems to be a lack of good gifts here. best bet is to have a look in the alpha store in sangnam dong buts its typical mass produced tacky stuff.
if you can, take a trip up to insadong in seoul. Lots of tacky shite there but some decent stuff aswell. there is a store downstairs from the canberra hotel but, again, mass produced stuff. It does make a decent gift mind. Most folks back home won't tell the difference.

At the Canberra hotel in Jungang dong near Obriens and IP. Sort of inbetween.

It's on the first floor just, walk in and take a left and you'll see it a little up the hallway.

It's about the only traditional gift shop I know of in Changwon.
