Anyone have any idea if temples are usually open for Chuseok? We're planning a trip to Maison provincial park and a hike up to Tap-sa. Then the next day heading over to Songgwang-sa. The schedule would be Tap-sa on Sunday and Songgwang-sa on Monday.

Just a general answer to whether or not temples are usually open for Chuseok or specifically if those two places will be open.

Thanks.

I've always seen the temples and palaces in Seoul open during Chuseok. They are also crowded with families that have realized driving across the country in jammed traffic isn't a "vacation."
