Hi All
Im teaching in an elementary school in Ilsan and have been here 2 weeks and still havent met any other foreigners to socialise with.
Im the only english teacher in my school and the korean teachers are all too old and feel nervous about talkin to me (they just laugh nervously wen i try to begin a conversation!) and i speak no Korean.
Just want to meet people who like to socialise and maybe hang out, dont worry im not a weirdo!
Thank You

If you have the time..check out some Facebook groups..There are a few groups in Ilsan..just search for Goyang or Ilsan..I live in Hwajeong but I met a lot of great people in Ilsan just by joining some of those groups..Good Luck! |

Hey I'm in the same boat you are. I've been here a week and haven't met any foreigners. I'm thinking about hitting up LaFesta and Western Dom this weekend to see what I can find. Let me know if you have met a lot of people yet! |
