I just realised that my university pays a month after the end of the pay period (which is also a month). This means that pay for September will come on or after 31st October.
Is this like most other unis? |

We are paid a few days before the end of the month for that month's work.
So is your school going to pay you 2 months wage at the end of your contract? |

It is a good school I am at in terms of working conditions and teaching and everthing else. I just struck me as a long time to wait for our first substantial pay.
That was also my first reaction - so that means when I finish my last days teaching I will be still owed 2 months salary plus severence?
I said the question only for Unis because as far as I know Hagwons and schools pay much sooner than my uni. |

It's better to ask your question to your uni administration or other foreigner working there. Better to get straight answers from a horse mouth. |
