As I stood brushing my teeth in the restroom, a Jehovah's Witness decided that the time was ripe for a sermon. She wasn't put off by the fact that the toothpaste was running out of my mouth as I was prodded into answering her inane questions. These people REALLY need to draw the line somewhere!

Here's what you do:

Lean in, give her a nice warm hug

Then break wind. Loudly.

Leave.

They pounced on my husband and I when we were out walking one day. He said, "We're atheists," and kept on walking. She gave up immediately.

Does it matter if it is true or not? It worked.

Louis C.K. said something about when in doubt, just act crazy. People respect crazy.

Just say something totally off the wall.

Most importantly get them to start having to answer questions. Like "Where's the money you owe me???" or "My fungal ointment and hemorrhoid creme hasn't arrived yet and it's been 7 days" That usually gets people running.

Just start preaching back about how JESUS was IN FACT the MESSIAH an HE is ALSO GOD! That should keep them from ever returning. My grandma loves when they come to her door because she gives them a good "witnessing" to instead of them givig one to her Laughing

Are you sure he was trying to shake your hand?

The Worldwide Church of God, which follows the New Jerusalem Mother, came to my house one day.
I looked up the word for "Evolutionist" on my electronic dictionary, showed it to them, and told them that that was what I was.
They gasped in horror.

That might work on the Jehovah's Witnesses also.

Radius, I think that I would like your grandmother. Everyone should witness to the witnesses, even nonbelievers...and then if we pray for these witnesses to be effective, maybe the JW's will convert and quit with the door knocking. Then we can work on the Moonies and whoever else...do they still have the Moonies here in Korea?

I always wanted to open the door, and then look kindly, but then faint at the doorway, and see what they'd do.
Don't think I could pull off a convincing faint though. If they stay around, when you awake, explain that their ideas are so intensely moronic (mormonic haha) that you physically couldn't handle it.
They might be more careful in future naggings.
