A lot of the posts on here are all doom and gloom that can often paint a depressing picture. I'd like to talk about something that I'm sure many of us can all rally around - CURRY!
I just went to a little place near Sookmyeong Women's University on Line 4 (also closr to Namyeong Station, line 1), and I want to give peeps the heads up. The chicken jalfrezi rocks!
It's called 'India Restaurant' and is behind the Outback Steakhouse. I kind of feel sorry for the owners, because they don't seem to get much business - presumably because of their location (it's on a little backstreet).
Anyway, I'm off to finish the spicy lentils.

OP, thanks for posting. That's a good post, people. The OP gave all us advice about a restaurant off the beaten path that delivers with good food. It's not like reading a couple of "professional" expat food bloggers (we all know) that suddenly love the food at the restaurants that sponsor their website.
This is good advice from someone without a financial motivation to rip you off.

As Malcolm from the (UK) Office said when Brent told everyone about his promotion, 'there is no good news, only irrelevant news.'

There is only good to be found in a decent curry. Fact. As for palak paneer, I don't recall TBH, but they had a reasonable menu. I'll certainly be going again sometime. I'll scan a copy of their flyer and post a link as soon as I can.

Thanks! I'd love to have that. It's been too long, and it's my favorite Indian dish.

often a restraunt will be owned by a Pakistani but will be called Indian, simply because India is bigger and more of a tourist attraction. so it attracts more customers.

i think we'll be going there often. Smile

thanks for this, menu looks good.

We'll be in Yongin, so i'm not sure how far it is, about an hour?

Notice below the Korean flag there is namdaemun? Notice under the Pakistan flag it has the taj mahal?

I'm just saying. Imagine a Canadian flag with the statue of liberty below it.
