Is there anyone who broke a contract within 6 months of duty? Just curious. |

There is more to this question. What are your concerns? The main thing is you pay the flight money back and possibly settlement allowance (which is usually 300,000 won). |

How many times do you need to re-post your query?

The answers won't change.
You have 2 options:
1) Give notice, get your deposits back (minus airfare and settlement allowance).
2) Pull a runner and depart the day after payday.
Pick one.
And to answer your query, about 20% if NETS bail within 6 months of arrival.
Depending on the year, anywhere from 34-60% of NETs do not complete their contracts.

Sorry about that. That double post was from the web browser related error. I didn't know it was posted until now. Anyways I'm in Korea under the F4 visa (which means that my parents are Koreans) and I got so disappointed with the Korean public school system in general. The staffs at my school are fine. They are just too immature of dealing with a NET or anybody in general. I got extremely frustrated with their juvenile responses. Another thing, I learned that my other experienced Australian friend in teaching English in Korea quit his fist teaching position at the second month of his contract, although it wasn't under GEPIK. |

Juvenile as in acting like annoying brats. They talk very offensively towards me and some of the staffs too. And I couldn't teach students when I have this piss poor office environment in front of me after class.
The most of all: I don't have any faith in the public education here. |
