Scientists study shows that chickens can feel empathy.

Will this change the way you think of your food? It won't for me as I like eating san-nachi because I like the feel of the thing I'm eating fighting against me in my mouth. Makes it more exciting.

that's kind of a ridiculous study.

they studied hens and their chicks. they ruffled the chicks with air puffs which caused chicks to be in distress, and the hens also felt distress. but come on, that's mama bear instincts coming into play. protect your young.

I don't care even if chickens start writing memoirs. As long as fried chicken tastes that good, they're just food to me.

Well that's made my decision. I'm going to eat more of the little buggers from now on. I'll be asking for extra solipsism with my fried 양념 chicken.
