For the most part, I have avoided ASAP job listings- but now that a recruiter is offering me one in a good location, I'm tempted to reconsider.

Because the job is ASAP, does that likely mean the last teacher quit on the spot? (Seems like a bad sign)

Has anyone taken a position that was ASAP? What were the circumstances and how did it turn out?

Any job is a gamble. ASAP doesn't mean it is bad. Maybe a teacher finished their contract, didn't tell the school they wouldn't re-sign, and now the school is out a teacher. Any hagwon is going to want you yesterday. If they don't, then I would be concerned.

Yeah, I'd say that in the grand scheme of things my hagwon is pretty organized, yet pretty much everyone is hired last minute.

I'll chime in with the two above. Could be loads of reasons. If the job seems good otherwise then go for it!
