| I just started using Bit Torrent and downloaded a couple of movies. They open in Windows Media Player but all I get is ambience pattern. Is there a simple solution to this? |

You're missing some codecs. The default filter for graphical playback on files without the right codecs on WMP is the "ambience" pattern.
I highly recommend the Kazaa Lite Codec Pack (google it).
Should be good after that.

| XVid codecs are also well worth having but, from my personal experience, I'd just download the codecs and avoid the player. Just my opinion based on it freezing Win XP. |
