I know this question has been played out but I've read 1000 posts and can't quite find the answer I need. I am switching hakwons. Do I need to get a new background check, or can I just change the visa without one? When I started my current job I submitted an apostilled background check to immigration, if that makes any difference.
Thanks!

It does make a difference.

You need:
passport
ARC
application
fees (60k for transfer and 30k for extension)
contract
new business registration
guarantee (sponsorship form)

IF your contract was NOT completed then add a LOR to the list.

You will also need, while you are immigration, to get an immigration issued copy of your CRC for the POE/MOE.

Thanks Ttompaz..

I did complete my current contract. No CRC? That's awesome.

One last question, if I switch from an E-2 to a D-10, and then back again, will I have to submit new documents again.. especially worried about background check.

Thanks!

No. That was the point of changing the D10 to work as a bridging visa between jobs for E2 holders.
