I understand your bad experinces with our bank, so I am really sorry to
making that poor service you have experienced.
Some case is perfectly you are right, but some are need to explain
about constraints which are from regulatory and english problem.

If you give me some time to discuss about our services, I will visit or
call you to resolve this issues.
However I even don't know your information, so I can't reach you now

I ask your apology on our poor services and this rude mail to you. Pls

The above letter is in response to my complaint to the corporate offices in New York City. They apparently forwarded my complaint to Seoul.

Good letter, but change ex-patriots to expatriates. And add something about Standard Chartered refusing to convert Korean money to foreign currency without adding a stamp in the passport declaring the amount of money converted.

Is that really the letter that you sent? It looks pretty poorly written to me. You are not very focused and your thoughts jump from topic to topic and touch on irrelevant ideas. I'm surprised you got a response at all.

In the letter, you state that you are a shareholder. You might want to send a letter to investor relations.

OP, I hate to break it to you but Citibank doesn't give a hoot about us and our wee little problems here - they are a multinational corporation who buy and sell stinky little debts held by COUNTRIES on a regular basis.

to wit - they chew little people like you and me up for breakfast - make that a continental breakfast - and spit us out -

I realize you feel like it's important to write a letter to someone to complain - but c'mon - it's really not going to do much more than flag you as a trouble maker - and not do the rest of us much good either.

and admitting you hold Citigroup stock when it's devalued over half? something about throwing good money after bad? that's not investing - that's playing the fool.

I'd save your energy and focus it on something you CAN accomplish - let them have their stupid banking laws - and yes, the pages in our passports are reserved for just such purposes - face it, if you want to travel, people are going to mangle your passport - it's because they are jealous they haven't been anywhere and you have -

The pages in your passport are NOT reserved for bank employees' self-important stampings or scrawlings. Legally, they have no business writing anything in there.
