Don't they mean libel? Anyways, it's not slander if it's true, and if his ex-class mate really was a bully there's nothing wrong with that.

Considering the costs of IT experts and lawyers it would only be worth-while if the person you're sueing has really deep pockets. On a site like this I think we're pretty safe because most are only here for a year and by the time the case went to court we'd be out of the country.

In the U.S., if something is published, true or not, that causes irreparable harm to a private individual, it can be libel.

Korea has very strict Libel and slander laws. Jail time is often meted out in these cases.
