i know a lot of you dont like me, but whatev..

im getting kinda nervous, anxious, excited and scared all at the same time just knowing that in 48 hours ill be in a completely different place. i expect all familiarities will be gone, until i get acclimated a little bit. hopefully things will work out, it seems like looking for a job in person is the way to go though.

It'll be easier than you think; take your time if you can do so. If you need a place to stay let me know and I might be able to find something. I'm good at looking for small rooms to stay in for a month or two.

Who doesn't like you? I don't remember anything of that sort. Anyway, the weather's getting nicer so you picked a good time to come.

Oh right, now I remember. I just looked at the other thread regarding rooms. Okay, you should be fine then. Make sure you print out the map to the place before you arrive! If you've already decided on where to live, that is. The map must be clear enough for a driver to understand it, otherwise you'll pay more for the cab or will have to look for it yourself and the luggage might be heavy...

im staying with my friends grandma whos 80 and doesnt speak any english. it'll be an interesting experience living with her. anyone know what i should get her as a gift? ill give her some $ for utilities too. i should be able to stay with her about a month, before her daughter is visiting and kicking me out. i should have a job by then hopefully. since im not taking my computer, im having to print out a lot of the threads that i've saved from this forum in case i need any help. plus i dont plan to go out at night, which should give me time to do some research on where i need to go the following day.

Huhn?

It doesnt matter... as long as your money holds out (save the partying for after you get a job) and you aren't super picky, you'll be able to land something pretty quickly.

pc rooms are all over the place and they are only W1,200 per hour. (here anyway). You dont have to print many things out except maps.

i hope its as easy as you say it is to get a job. the reason im printing a lot of stuff out is cuz i have the links and info on my home computer. since i wont be taking my computer with me, i wont be able to access a lot of the websites and links i've saved over the months researching positions.
