Im looking for recomendations Ive got next week off and have decided its time to check out Korea. My basic plan is to head down to Pusan hopefully find a beach and do a few dives then spend the rest of the time slowly working my way back to Seoul taking in as much as i can.

So where does everyone recomend?

Islands. Pick one and go. Feast on seafood. It's a great time to hit the southern islands with summer in full swing.

This is tourist season. Most places will be packed.

If this is your first time out, try Kyeongju.

There's a billion islands along the coasts of Korea. Pick one, find out how to get there, and have a ball.

Uulong-do is great!! Not really a "tourist" desitination, so it shouldn't be too over-crowded. Koje-do is nice too, if you're headed Busan way. (PM VanIslander for info!! Laughing )

If you're more into "inland" things: After Busan ...there are some caves and a green tea plantation nearby...Beomeo-sa temple is cool...Kyung Ju...Andong...then take your pick going north...
