I have been in contract negotiations with a school and I have the contract almost perfect, but I am wondering what happens next. Like if I decide to take the offer, does the school sign the contract first and then send it to me and I sign it? Or visa versa? Then what happens, I've never done this before...thanks for the help! |

It gets signed. Doesn't matter who signs first. Usually done by fax if you are overseas. Go with the flow. They'll let you know what needs to be done. |

It's time to start looking at flight schedules and the address of the nearest Korean consulate/embassy. The school will give you instructions, but you'll need to send your passport and photos to the consulate for the visa stamp. Then be ready to fly out within a few days. |

Sorry to jump in on someone else's questions ... but I'm in the same boat. Waiting for my visa. Do I need to bring photos to the consulate? Or just the visa pin number and passport?
My director will buy the ticket, but do I find the flight? I haven't talked to him about that yet. |

You need to take your confirmation number, passport type ohoto, visa application form, possibly your transcript (depending on which consulate (like Chicago) - ask ahead of time), passport and the visa fee. |

when applying for your visa be sure to get a multiple reentry visa. you may have the opportunity to travel outside Korea. it costs less to get it now. |
