If you haven't listened to the home-made band music made and put up for review online these days, you really should listen. I consider this sort of thing the next revolution in music. The thing that saves us all from the recycled "Britney Spears" sounding crap flowing from manufactured pretty-people bands.

I just love www.GarageBand.com

Enjoying the music on there just makes me feel good. Kind of like I'm giving the collective "big brother" music industry people a big finger, or something.

I've used it for a couple of songs with my students. Alot of the music is available for legitimate mp3 download and some of the songs even have lyrics. It's great for intermediate and up.

Looks like it's what MP3.com used to be. I found so many great bands on there from 1999-2000 that I still listen to today, as in, right now. I even became friends with some of them.

Thanks for the link. Obviously, I'm way overdue in finding new music.
