Hey everyone. This is my first time posting. I'm not trying to start something, but if anyone has done this or has any advice, cheers and thanks a lot...

I've been here at my school for 4 months now, and I am not experienceing Korea the way I planned. The school had me come over here thinking I was making a different salary, the hours are way longer than we're getting paid, and the administration is very non-professional (I know, I know, lots of people experience this). Please don't tell me suck it up or whatever, just give me advice if you have any...

I only planned on being here a year....is it worth it to change at six months, forfeiting my bonus and such, but maybe getting a higher paying job to make up the difference? I know there are six month contracts, but are there any benefits you can negotiate with them? Any help would be great....have fun in the ROK.

It's not worth it if you only want to stay another six months. If you want to stay for a year and six months, start looking into getting a letter of release, as that will be your ticket to a better job.
