The Red Cross are parked in my school playground at the moment hoping to get the students to volunteer to donate blood.
I find this quite strange.
Are they that desperate??? |

We had blood drives when I was in high school. I think it's just one of those things you have to keep replinishing. Most people just don't go in and volunteer to donate blood. |

We had the blood bus come around last year. Yes, I thought it was strange. I wonder if it's optional? When I was there it looked like a whole class was going in. |

Well, I can't give blood because I am under the required weight. And...I hate blood and needles. |

Ah I see. I don't think they do that at secondary schools in the UK. Well, not that I recall I have always been a blood donor.
One of the Korean teachers aske dif I was going to donate, but I heard they don't accept blood from foreigners.
