|
|
Just so you Canuckleheads know, eh, our beloved Oilers put forth, in this New Englander's opinion, a much, much better effort in their victory over the Carolina Hurricanes than in any of their other contests against the Yankee-laden 'Canes.
Our Oilers were all over the puck, made their checks, and played well in both zones.
Go Oilers!

| What a game! Non stop action, 53 shots, 7 goals, the last one in OT. And my wife wonders why I'm not interested in the World Cup. |

Our opinion that Ice Hockey is a more exciting game than Football is not a radical one. It sucks, though, that so many people do not seem to take the time needed to understand the best game ever.
In New England, at least-uh, nearly everybody knows how to play the game - even if many of them can not skate worth a darn.
Keep on, keepin' on, Dude.

highlights coming on nhl.com ....
in the meant time....I NEED TO KNOW HOW ITLOOKED!
I don't want to hear that carolina played like crap but they played really well! But edmonton beat them. THAT'S what i want to hear.
oilers have been through SO much crap these playoffs and still persevered. Unless you are a diehard cane's fan, you'd be a tit to not root for hte oilers.[/url] |

Well I'm no tit so I must be diehard canes fan.
I will say that the Canes played really well tonight and that the Oilers played better. I think that's the battle report you were hoping for. It was a heck of a game. I think both teams were as fired up as they've been in the series. It's going to get good going down the stretch... |

Best game ever? HOCKEY?! Thats absurd. Hockey has all the subtelty of rambo movies. Basically, its easy to digest and perfect for people with no attention span. |

Whats this? A fake, platic team created out of thin air with no roots or tradition might win a title in a North American league? Who would have guessed? |

| nice work, ignoramus: the Canes have been around for longer than you know. they were the Hartford Whalers for many a year, starting way back in the WHA days. why post if you have no clue? |
