www.fifa.com
Can you access this site?

I brought up the same point. I figured that's what it must be. A mature response from Korea if it's true. |

Were you accessing it before?
I'd guess it was an earlier marketing move by Yahoo which as an "official partner" is touting its own www.fifaworldcup.com site. |

My girlfriend got a kind of spam text last night saying something like if enough people (500000) go to FIFA.com and protest/register or whatever, the Korea Switzerland game can be replayed. This may or may not be a reason. |

I can say 100% that it is true. Access is deliberately being denied from Korea. There was just a story about this on the news. |

*Sigh *Will Koreans take this the wrong way or the right way? Will they think Fifa is trying to cover up and hide something? I sincerely hope not. |

Hard to say. My husband is hardly a representation of Koreans in general, but he thinks it's both amusing and embarrassing. |

We wouldn't have this problem if parents restricted their childrens' Internet usage.
