exactly what is it in Korea? Just cause there are dressing differences I thought I would ask. If you can provide pictures that would be great!

Along the same lines, are tank tops (nice ones with thick straps) generally accepted? What about shoes? Are sandles ok?

Depends on where you work. Hogwons can be lax or strict. Sandles probably OK, no flip flops, tank tops maybe not, wear a shrug. Don't wear shorts. Universities expect a little more. Just be well groomed.

I usually wear a dress or nice slacks and a blouse. I don't do heels. Of course, I also wear salwar kameez, which give some Koreans fits! Be conservative until you know what you can get away with.

Business casual in Korea: a see-through, short-sleeved dress shirt (preferably dull gray) with a wifebeater underneath. As well, you'll need a string-necked tie, some triple-pleated pants with a too-long belt and some slightly oversized black shoes.

And be sure to put a pack of This cigarettes in your shirt pocket.
