| Dudes, I tried checking the internet for the answer to this Q. I'm not in K-land yet, I arrive soon, but I'm already trying to plan my holiday. So when IS Sollal? |

| If your school is nice they might give you the Friday off too. Probably not though if it's an average hagwon. |

Strangely, when I googled Sollal I got a bunch of different dates, hence my plea for info here. Thanks, by the way.
So it falls on a weekend, eh? That kinda sucks, I hope my people ARE generous. I won't be working in a hagwon, I've scored a corporate gig so I hope they'll have more than just a long weekend.
Last time I was working in Korea for Sollal (2004), I scooped a whole nine days off! Woo hoo! |

| I'm not going to complain about Sollal, I'm just glad that this year we get holidays for Christmas and Lunar New Year! Christmas last year was little more than a normal weekend. |

Hmm. I meant Solar New Year. I think the "Sol" in Sollal put me off when I wrote without thinking. Thanks for catching me out! |
