| A man at Incheon airport yesterday tried to charge me 30,000 won for a 10,000won limo bus ride into the city. I told him oh no and that I know better...hehehe...newbies take heed!!! |

And watch out for the ubiquitous taxi driver willing to take you downtown for 50,000 - 80,000 won! They will lie and say there's no bus running then, at 6 am, even as one passes by. Incheon airport and the Busan ferry terminal have the most cunning cabbies of the whole sorted lot. |

One of those "friendly" taxi drivers tried to pounce on me, too. When I said I was taking a bus and giggled, he giggled, too, because he knew that I knew he was trying to rip me off. Last year, I DID take a taxi from Incheon back to my apt...but that's only because I wanted to. It's Ok, if you don't mind paying 90,000+. Otherwise, stick to the buses! They are always going! |
