I'm interested in establishing a credit file here in Korea so that I can eventually get loans if I want to and possibly a credit card. How does a foreigner go about doing this? Thanks for your help in advance! |

Do you work for a University, public school, or hakwon?
If you work for a uni or public school there are any number of cards you can get as well as loans for cars and real-estate.
If you work for a hakwon you can ONLY get a secure deposit credit card. |

I work in a hagwon. Will the secure deposit credit card still build a credit file? Thanks. |

No, you are using your own money. |
