I'm planning to go to Seoraksan park this weekend, just for a day and a half. If anyone knows what I absolutely shouldn't miss or what I really should bring with me, please let me know.

bring your camera.
Ulzmabowi is a nice hike but kind of a let down. The cave hike a little farther down is usually less crowded and is more scenic.
The waterfall hike is the worst of the three. Not very challenging and no real great scenery.

If you decide to hike up one of the tall mountains, leave all your junk behind. All you need is a good pair of shoes. It's hard enough w/o having to lug a pack of useless objects. You can leave your backpack in a locker at the cable-car office for 500 won.

bring your camera, lovely.

The cable car was closed a couple of weeks ago due to the high winds, so be prepared for that.

I did the cave hike which, took about 4 hours round trip. The first hour isn't too hard, but then it feels like you are literally going straight up for about 30-40 minutes. We took a couple of breaks along the way to catch our breath and enjoy the view, I'm sure you'll have a good time

Damn, probably too late. I actually live next to Seoraksan... go Hwaamsa. Its a totally cool temple with a huge rock next to it. Not too many ppl know about it. I dont know if you can get there without a car, though...
