So. The teacher bathroom has two urinals. I pop open the door before lunch, and there, with his back to me, legs apart, hands together in front, peeing away into the urinal, is the principal. A very old school dude: 62 years old, all about his status, expects bribes. There is, of course, the Other Urinal. Right next to him. I was very startled, and after a moment of slightly pancked indecision, I closed the door and went to lunch. Managed to hold it without too much squirming.

What should I have done? Are there any cultural norms for this situation?

I dunno about the Principal. It's probably not a good idea to show him what a 'real' man looks like (cultural resentment and all that). I use the student toilets on all floors. That shocked the kids at first, but now it's all "hi's etc". A rather disturbing comment about "big" and then it was situation normal. Using the students' toilets also cuts down on bullying.

Easy thing to get around. Confidently pony up beside him, unzip your trousers, whip out your manhood, take a deep breath and let go. If you do this especially confidently, you may unnerve him and even distract him from his game. Extra points will be awarded for a drawn out "ai-guuuuuuuuuuu"...

Don't turn and talk to him then pee on his leg by accident though.

That would be bad form.

I'm pretty confused by this. There are two urinals and one was being used. You were afraid to use the other because of why??

SheWee

Customer Rating
Read Reviews | Add Review

Now girls can stand up and pee! No more sqatting behind bushes, or hovering over disgusting toilet seats. Simply carry a SheWee with you and you can wee just like a bloke. This simple plastic device is reusable and hygenic.

Shewee doesn't just offer equality with men, but is a real and revolutionary device which will change women's lives.

Designed with women of all ages and occupations in mind, the compact Shewee will soon be as much of a handbag essential as your lipstick!

Whether you choose to use Shewee to avoid sitting on less than desirable public toilet seats, or if your job or favourite hobby makes going to the toilet in the usual squatting stance difficult, Shewee is a brilliant solution.

The list of uses below are just a few of our suggestions, but there are many more occasions when Shewee will prove invaluable.

General uses:

- When faced with a grubby public toilet

- In foreign countries with unconventional facilities

- When giving a specimen for medical testing

- When you are stuck in traffic (a bottle would also be required!)

- When on a long walk in the country

- Elderly or disabled women who find bending difficult

Occupational uses:

- Women in the armed forces; camouflaged bottoms will no longer be necessary
- Commercial drivers

- Police Women

Hobby related uses:

- Climbers

- Campers

- Skiers

- Festival goers (we all know the stories about the toilets at festivals!)
- Hikers/Ramblers

Instructions:

The flow of your urine is directed away from you and your shoes by a cleverly angled outlet pipe.

To urinate in the new and easy way, follow these simple steps.

1. Undo trousers. Pull down the front of your underwear or push to one side. Place Shewee securely against your body.

2. Direct outlet pipe away from body and out of trousers. Ensure Shewee is positioned in an effective and comfortable position. Aim urine to a suitable place; into a toilet or away from feet.

3. Once relieved, pull funnel away and use to wipe any final drips. Shake funnel. Replace in resealable bag.

4. Throw away or save for reusing another time.

NB: Practice with Shewee in your shower to find the best position for you. (On leaving the body, urine is sterile). You will soon feel confident to stand up and take control!

The Shewee is made of plastic and can be reused as many times as you desire; with or without washing it in between uses. Just store it in the resealable bag that comes with it free!

If you would like to wash the Shewee; once you get home the Shewee can go in the washing machine with your undies, be washed by hand in warm soapy water or even go in the dishwasher!

If you are reusing the Shewee to give urine samples, the Shewee can be sterilized in an Autoclave, in the microwave or boiled.

The plastic withstands temperatures up to 120 Degrees Celsius and detergents including bleach.

Thanks a bunch, Pimp, for f'ing f'in' it up, eh.

I am still wondering what a Korean teacher would have done.

On the one hand, the males seem less inhibited in certain ways--they hold hands and are physically affectionate in ways Western men avoid. This is partiucarly true of male children, but probably true of Korean men too.

On the other hand, it was the Principal. He is all about his dignity and status.
