Here they say "Korea has only won 31 medals. Of those, 17 came in short-track speed skating":

While here they say "Korea has won only 31, all but two coming in short track speed skating":

In the same article, this is stated:

"He actually traveled around 26 countries in the Americas and Europe for five years, starting at the age of 16..."

And a couple of paragraphs down, this is stated:

"He traveled through 20 countries, cheating and changing his identity. He was arrested in 1969 in France..."

Both here:

I was recently profiled in the JoongAng Daily and there were at least
a dozen factual errors in the story, including my name and the title of the zine I used to make. I emailed the journalist breaking down all the mistakes she had made and the best she could say in reply was, "Sorry if I didn't get all the 'phrasing' right."

Bloody ridiculous, but of course half-assed journalism is simply par for the course here in the Hubcab of Asia. Let's hope JoongAng's new editor tightens things up a bit... I won't be holding my breath though!

Maybe they should be checking out the credentials of their 'reporters' before hiring them.
