While watching The Simpsons Movie, I spotted this quick bit of Korean. I know a little Korea, but can't make total sense of it. Can anyone make sense of it for me. Sorry for the poor quality. Pretty sure it says ??? ??? ???? ??. Something about Texas English lessons?!?!

If anyone watches the movie, it's during the scene in the hotel when Homer is trying to convince the family to move to Alaska. He opens the window and this sign can be seen.

hmmm... does my korean writing show up as question marks to others? Anyway, I've been able to make out that it says Texas dialect English Lessons. Is this correct?

On a non-related note-
I've heard that all the Simpsons cartoon cels are drawn and/or colored in here in Korea. Anybody know more about this?

I thought so. I catch some Korean names, and something about Korea when the closing credits fly by, plus had read somewhere that this was the case.
It'd be nice to be able to get a couple cels somehow, kind of like a reverse, black-market, fell of the local truck kind of thing. Quite collectible back home, and darn nice art work, in my opinion.

For my wedding present nine years ago, I received a cell from one of my wifes friends, who worked for the show at the time. It's in my office at home hanging on the wall. Very cool. I can post a pic if you really wanted to see it. Razz

A quote from one of the Treehouse of Horror specials: "Good night and thanks for watching. We hope you had as much fun watching this show as the Koreans did making it." I was watching it with a student and you could see the 우리나라 pride aglow.

I never knew the Simpsons were colored here either. I found a link to elaborate.

I'd love to see it, as well as the phone number of your wife's friend. Laughing

I was dating an ex-Simpson's animator for a while. I think she said she was a Maggie specialist. Cool chick.
